Account & Data Deletion – MindMerse
This page explains how users can request deletion of their account and personal data associated with the MindMerse app.
You do not need to be logged in to request deletion.
Request Account Deletion
To delete your account and associated data, please send a request using the email below:

Subject: Account Deletion Request
Please include:
- your registered email address
- optional reason for deletion
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon successful verification, we will delete:
- user account (Firebase Authentication)
- personal identifiers such as email and user ID
- mood logs and usage data
- AI session data
- stored preferences where applicable
What Data May Be Retained
We may retain:
- anonymized analytics data that does not identify you
- transaction or financial records if required by law or accounting rules
Processing Time
Deletion requests are processed within 7–30 days.
Alternative In-App Method
Users may also request deletion inside the app:
Profile → Settings → Delete Account
Subscriptions
If you have an active subscription:
- cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions
- deleting your account does not automatically cancel billing
